So many questions, so little time! I often get asked some of these questions, and others are simply things you might like to know when booking your photoshoot with me. Here is a list of frequently asked questions (FAQs) and their answers. I AM NOT PHOTOGENIC, HOW COULD I EVER LOOK GOOD LIKE THAT?
Nobody EVER thinks they are photogenic. But here's a secret: it is NOT the client's job to look good, it is the photographer's job to do it. I specialize in posing men and women of all sizes and body types. I have camera tricks up my sleeve and will guide you throughout the entire session to make you look your best. Don't believe me? I WOULD LIKE TO CREATE A GALLERY WALL IN MY HOME. CAN YOU HELP ME WITH THAT?
I have experience preparing fine art prints for exhibits and wall art for people's homes. If you have a specific wall in mind, I will help you figure out the best layout of framed prints for your specific needs AND we will shoot images specific for that project. Part of my service also includes providing you with a portrait display guide for inspiration and industry-grade software to help you visualize your wall with the framed prints before committing to them. This will give you the confidence in your investment from the very start.
BUT I NEED TO LOSE 20LBS BEFORE BOOKING..
I specialize in posing all body types and you DO NOT need to lose your weight to feel beautiful. By simply lighting and directing you appropriately I will make you lose 10lbs, and another 10lbs with careful camera angles. I seriously take care of it all mostly in camera so you can focus on what you love about yourself.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH FAMILIES?
I do! Here's how a family session usually goes: the girls come in earlier so they have their hair and makeup done and a fun photoshoot together, then the boys come in later for group shots. I once photographed a family of 4 (expectant mother + father+ 5yo + 3yo) in 5 minutes (timed!) and all the father would say afterwards is how this was the best photoshoot of his life because of how efficient it was! ;) But don't worry, I will take more than 5 minutes if necessary to get the right shot.
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS?
I have in the past and occasionally will still get inquiries to those. I still do couples sessions (such as engagements, formals, etc), but if you really want me to photograph your wedding day, send me an inquiry and we'll talk!
DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS?
YES! I love photographing seniors and capturing this unique time in their lives. I make sure both mom, dad, and senior boy/girl will LOVE their photos and keep them forever in my popular keepsake boxes while also having the digital version to share with their friends on social media.
DO YOU OFFER DIGITAL IMAGES?
I do! Every print you purchase comes with its coordinating digital copy and print release for your convenience and personal safe-keeping. I will send them to you via online gallery after the ordering session from where you may order more professional prints, or download and print them yourself for casual scrapbooking projects. (I do recommend you save them on your favorite cloud storage service and email so you always have them.)
DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS?
I do accept all major credit cards, cash and checks, as well as Venmo.
DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?
I offer payment plans towards print and product purchases. We will talk about your payment options on your ordering session.
