THE PORTRAIT CLIENT EXPERIENCE

begins with the end in mind.

You got here because you value experience and prints. You are intentionally seeking for an amazing experience that has potential to boost your self-confidence and to produce tangible family heirlooms that your kids to fight over who gets to keep mom’s beauty portrait (yes, prints tend to do that over time). ;)

I believe in my core that you deserve a beautiful portrait of yourself. If it’s been a while or if you’ve never had your portrait taken by a professional, consider the transformative experience to have an amazing photoshoot.

My process below was designed with the busy mom in mind:

Everything happens while your kids are at school on a weekday, so that you’re not away from those who matters most.

In fact, you might consider having them skip school for a slice of the photoshoot, so that you have portraits with those you love the most.

In the end, you’ll have beautiful, timeless, printed portraits of yourself and your loved ones you never thought possible.

So whether you want a gallery of family wall art (installed for you!) or a folio box with prints for gifting to yourself or to your children and grandchildren…you’re worth it.

  • In preparation for your session, the design consultation can be done via phone, video or in-person. This is when I will ask you about your home design tastes and photoshoot goals such as:

-Who to include in the photoshoot (family members, pets, BFF,…)

-Where and how you’d like to display your photos

-Where to do the photoshoot (in-studio or on location such as outdoors, home, etc)

-What you receive for your investment

  • A huge part of what makes or breaks a great image is styling. Upon booking, I will send you the style guide and go over it with you to help you customize it for your photoshoot goals. Things that will be discussed:

-What to wear and color palettes

-How to prepare for your photoshoot

    -Hair, skin and nails

Professional hair and makeup for up to two people is included in your session fee. Arrangements can be made to accommodate larger groups.

  • On your photoshoot day, you will arrive at the studio at the appointed time. Together we will go over final wardrobe selection and get started with hair and makeup.

This is the fun part and when the magic happens!

The poses are fully guided so you don’t need to come up with what to do. The lighting and poses are designed to flatter your body type and to bring out only the best in you!

As this is a unique experience, please plan your time accordingly and leave your day open. Portrait sessions typically happen on weekdays, during the morning, with same-day view and order session after a lunch break.

  • You have the option for a same-day view and order appointment, immediately following the photoshoot (after a quick lunch break) or you may book your appointment at a more convenient date, about a week after your photoshoot (in-person or online).

This is when you’ll select your favorites and order any wall art or print products. You only buy what you love and considering the previous design consultation you will already have a pretty good idea for what you want.

After you select which images you love and any print products, I will personally edit each of them to professional standards before I send them to print. Digital copies are always included with every image purchase.

  • About 4 to 6 weeks after your order has been placed, your portraits will be delivered. Like Christmas morning, delivery day is when you get to hold your prints and enjoy them for years to come.

When you purchase wall wart, installation is included (if you live locally). You won’t ever need to worry about nails, studs and how straight everything is!

  • Now you will enjoy your wall portraits every day! But what about the next year? And the year after that? Working with me, we get to design a vision for the years to come as your family grows and and your home changes.

Wall art is curated to fit in your home now and to move around as your family art collection increases over time.

Folio boxes are meant to safely store your growing collection of prints that can be easily displayed in myriads of ways.
